Retread Technician  Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a dependable Rethread Technician  to join our Retread Tire Warehouse team. 

The position may be assigned to a variety of production and warehouse stations, including shipping and receiving, initial inspection, buffering, casing inspection, skiving, filling, tire repair, sorting, tread running, envelope, vacuum, final inspection, painting, and shipping/receiving.

This is a hands-on, physically active position . Candidates must be comfortable working around tires, oil, antifreeze, truck rims, tread materials, and other manufacturing inventory.

• Handle, move, stack, and organize truck tires, tread, rims, and other inventory.
• Work safely and efficiently at assigned production stations.
• Inspect tire casings and materials for quality and condition.
• Assist with tire preparation, repair, retreading, and finishing processes.
• Operate manufacturing and warehouse equipment as trained.
• Operate a Hi-Lo safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the manufacturing operation.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. 
• Ability to handle and move large/heavy truck tires and other materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to operate a Hi-Lo.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Comfortable getting dirty.
• Comfortable in hot work environments 

This position is performed inside a manufacturing facility and involves physical, hands-on work. Employees may work around tire materials, tread, truck rims, oil, antifreeze, machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM-Until done (typically 10 hour shifts)
Pay: $18

****Candidates must be dependable and able to consistently report to work on time for the scheduled shift.
